Problem Statement
Alex is a young explorer who needs help saving the wildlife because he needs to save himself from being attacked by wild animals.

Solution
The team and I were prompted to build a gaming app that adhered to certain rules of hunting wild animals that would attack Alex.
The Game Theme
Game loop should consist on a series of cards(levels). Every card should reproduce the sound of an animal on touch, and contain the name of the animal. After selecting the card, the player should look for the animal on the environment. If the player finds the correct animal, the card should disappear and the avatar should reproduce an affirmative action (good job!). If a mistake is made, the player should be penalized with a time penalty and (waiting for a couple of seconds while the time is running) The win condition should be completing all the cards, the lose condition should be met when you run out of time. If the player runs out of time, a chance should be taken, and this chances can be recharged in 2 ways. First one, with time (after 5 hs, you will get one chance, up to 5) and second one, if you watch an add. Completing a level, should award the player with an in-game currency, that can be used to buy weapons for the player. We can increase the game loop difficulty with deception mechanics, imposing a rule in the beginning (only match the name of the animal, only match the sound, etc).
Environment:
We need to design environment in such a way that each time the location of trees is change so player don't get familiar with the path. Need to be done from development side. Same For Ocean. There will be other animals in forest to in each level they will not harm the player.

Project background: I had to conduct this research in order to know more about forest games.
Research goals: Design problems are: Alex is a young explorer who needs help saving the wildlife because he needs to save himself from being attacked by wild animals. Basically Idealweb is looking for an intuitive design to help players catch bad animals. The results of this research will affect the design decisions minimally. As we have to research different scenes.
What are the questions your research is trying to answer?
What should the overall tone/feel of the game be?
How will this influence the art style + button/icon design?
How should the scenes be in the forest game?
What should the weapons tool entail
Should the person be present or in the background of the game?
How can you measure progress toward the research goals?
TimeTime on Task: How long does it take for a player to kill all the wild animals and win?
User error rate: How often does the user make a mistake picking the wrong weapon or missing the target wild animals?
System Usability: A survey used to understand how many players can kill as many animals as possible.
How will you collect data? How will you analyze the data once you get it?
On May 6th, I conducted an interview asking players questions about how they felt about the path of the game and the visuals. The location was the United States, preferably people that I know in Texas. I conducted a primary research 30 minutes per user. I will collect data by doing user research and putting it on a table to understand user needs. The data that I receive will help me adjust my design so that users can use the app better. Each user demonstrated how they got to the training page, also how they chose their weapons and began killing the wild animals.
The problem of the research is that it can lead to groupthink. One group thinking one thing. Some of the limitations stem from the user not knowing how to get to certain areas because they got distracted.
The methodology should be detailed so that other researchers can understand what you did, the choices you made, and the limitations of the methods employed to decide if or when further research is needed.
Participants are single, married, and students. 3 females and 3 males. One female is a housewife and she has never used a learning app before. The other female is a UX design student who knows how to use apps and she is still in college. Another female is married and is still going to the University. The 3rd female is married and has a love for ICT and technology. The first male is single and still going to school, the only app he has used was blackboard. The second male is a college professor who teaches astronomy. The third male is a worker at Microsoft and is single. I chose all of these participants because they come from different backgrounds and my results will be good.
Note: If you’re intentionally including specific populations (e.g., users with diverse abilities and perspectives), be clear about the needs of the study.
What questions will you ask study participants?
Intro:
Hello participants, may you please sign this document so that I can have your consent to record? Please be reminded that there are no right or wrong answers. Data is being collected because I wanted to understand the use of the Forest Game app in terms of gamification for adult players. Also, I wanted to find out if the players will be eager to participate once they know there are weapons and training available. Thank you participants for your time, my name is Fatou Jack and I will be interviewing you.
Basic questions:
Where do you live? Town or city?
What school do you go to?
What's your age?
What types of games interest you?
How many games do you play a week?
What games do you play?
How many times a week will you be participating in the forest game app?
Prompts:
1. Press Start and you’ll end up at the main menu
2. Follow-up; How quick and efficient was it to get to the menu?
3. Press training on the Main menu to understand what to do.
4. View the training board and pick weapons.
After this, go back to the main menu and press on edit profile.
5. Once in, select your avatar and input your name.
6. Go back to the main menu and click on level selection.
7. Follow-up: How do you feel about getting to the level selection page?
8. Select a level and start your gameplay
9. Once in gameplay mode, use the buttons to shoot the wild animals so that they won’t attack.
10. Make sure you hit the target with precision.
11. Thank you for your time!
When your full script is ready, insert it here, along with some design mockups to provide context. In the meantime, add “TBD” (to be determined).
